CNY is almost here~ lalalala

Spent the whole day making CNY cookies. It was a blast =)
Because
- I had something to do inbetween homework.
- Got flour all over my black pants and all over my aunt's house =X
-Brought back a truckfull of cookies.

Sadly it wasn't a truckfull. It was just 3 tupperwares full of 'em.
Still the cookies were awesome.
Awesome to make. bake. eat
LOL

And when my sisters and I were operating a cookie factory. My mum went to an actual hair saloon to get her hair done for CNY photoshoots. As far as i noe, she doesn't go to anywhere else but our usual at Serdang.

She went there with black hair
came back....
errrr.
She dyed her hair brown. with RED FREAKIN RED highlights. And had her bob with a slightly too short fringe.

......even my mum looks younger than me now. The only thing making her look her age are those really - really black framed glasses.
So when the day actually comes for the photoshoots. Everybody would run around with their bulky DSLR's and snap pictures of everyone....so nobody escapes the yearly photo album.

For the past 2 years she hasn't dyed her hair.
But she was once a blond-with-honey-highlights when she was younger.
O_o

I haven't been blogging... i know.
Its entirely my fault.

Its like saying its not you, its me.

Being in 4B really is different. All the people there are complete Einsteins. So , to get an A- for my first essay assignment can't be that bad I guess.
Believe it or not, my brain is still stuck at vacation mode, where the subject ( which is moi) is still sleeping less than 6 hours a day, indulging on chocolate, fangirling some random people and fussing/worrying about 2010.
Although 2010 is ALREADY here.

I mean just , it seems just yesterday I started my first day in CBN as a complete freshman, with no responsibility, no teachers that call you unexpectedly, and my favorite, no need to act serious/scary/strict as a senior.
According to NerYSsa. I was smiling and scolding at the same time. How awkward is that?
And Miss Winnie said that the juniors said I was 'garang' .
I told all my form 2/3 juniors and all of us had a good laugh.
That is just so funny. Me? Scary? Ohnoes XD

Tomorrow there's exam.
I'm not studying. yet. I'm just plain lazy. I know.

It has just struck me that the date today is 17th December 2009.
Yes ,I did not care to check what the date was.
I truthfully have not been sleeping at the right time for the past week.
So my "biological clock" is on haywire mode.

And I have got my two-zero-one-zero planner, which is supposed to replace this year's Starbucks planner

number of visits to various shopping centres for one month.

Lolz. I have been a complete couch potato. But the upside of this whole thing is that ,it will be extremely hard to picture being a couch potato when school reopens.

Death Note is showing at TV8 now, so all my sisters are in front of the tv. Therefore, it is much easier to have complete access to the laptop/computer. I've seen that movie anyway. Definately more than once.

I feel like an almost-dead migratory bird that flew a few thousand miles to a warmer climate.

Yesterday was though, since there were 2 things that exhausted me.

1. Stupid band practise

2. An 'incident' between my parents

Number 1 is normal to be exhausted . So no explanation needed.

Number2:

Some stupid argument broke up between them . And my mum left with the car we came with.
So the rest of the family was stranded for half the day at my aunt's house.

And today my dad woke me up freakin early in the morning.

Well ,today was a completely unproductive day. I was stuck at the band room ALONE, labelling all the stands, all 26 of them in fluorescent yellow labels.
And I have no idea why it is compulsory to go for band practice on Saturday.
And Miss Winnie says we can afford a tuner for each section.

There also is MeiWern's com service mural to plan and colour.
I am currently out of inspirations, so it might take all night.

PMR is finally over.
It still has not really sunk in yet..
and it seems that when you stop studying abruptly after 2-3 months of intensive revision, it ges mighty weird.

Don't you get the feeling of not doing anything, yet doing something, when there's nothing to do.

aNyway, there was a dude who came and taught us how to write scripts, and how to write it well.
It was mostly theory, but it was rather interesting.
That dude was what he calls a freelance performing artist..he's like multi-talented, musician+actor+director+ many more
So, he's a fantastic example for someone that is successful in the arts industry.
Imagine, he's a bald dude, who plays at gigs and acts..

I never knew it was so much work to produce a play. All the stuff about the antagonist and protagonist and the conflict . And all of the important aspects like the plot and characters.
And did you know how long was he lecturing us?

3 HOURS. 3 EXHAUSTING HOURS.

I really cannot believe how freaked out my mum is about PMR.

Yesterday was Friday...
Band practice day. As I have said in the before post , I will never, ever practice at home.
And I was desperate for practice. So I went, four people came.
No surprise there.
Mr Koh wasn't surprised either.
Yeah, our instructor stayed back.
He was there 'spectating' us. It was creepy.
Then he told me that there is a good flute teacher near The Curve.
And that teacher was Ave Maria Convent's instructor.
Yes, I admit I got over-excited when I heard about it.
Plus, he said that teacher wasn't that pricey.
So, when my mum came to pick me up from band, I told her.
She literally cursed me....
Not excluding, an attempt to make me break into tears.
Ahhhh. w/e
Then, when I was lying down/resting on my bed.
She thought I was sulking because I couldn't watch TV.
......
I'm gonna be back studying. So I wont be posting for quite a while.
I have a feeling that next week won't be so pleasant.

At first there were only yellow lilies, then her teacher said it looked bare ,so there came the batch of pink ones .

And then, her nice teacher told me to try sketching. So, I did.

If it really is that bad, its an orang-utan.
My lines suck.....
The strokes were not smooth enough actually.
Plus I didn't have a good eraser

Report- update~

Ahahahaha this was my phone background for almost one month. I liked it that much.

So many things to talk about

Number one.

From today onwards, I will not practice my flute at home,

at least not anywhere near my mum.

Well,that was today.

Yesterday.Sunday.

I woke up at ten in the morning, and the party was at twelve.

I woke up so late and I still had to cook eggs, ham and sausages for my family's Sunday outdoor breakfast....which is at the poolside.....which is barely ten steps away from my condo block

In the end, I changed in 5 minutes and combed my hair in the car

Not only that, my parents decided that they could fool around with the GPS in my mum's phone.

So, all I could hear was "recalculating""recalculating""recalculating"

Annoying##

So, when I finally reached Pavillion. It was a few minutes before twelve.

And the party STARTS at twelve... and they dropped me off at the other side of Pavillion.

So I had to run up 3 or 4 escalators and walk to the opposite side.

And I finally reach TGIF.

Ate a lot of food.

Played pass the parcel, and limbo.

Went to Times bookstore, which was beside TGIF.

Watched District 9

It is an 18+ show.

Lotsa gore+ blood+aliens.

Its quite good actually.

After all its 'Peter Jackson presents'

XD .Peter Jackson didn't actually direct it. But it was still good.

During the rehearsal earlier that day, he scolded me for being unprepared.

This was my situation:

Woke up at 6a.m.

Followed Amanda to her school.

Studied KH at the canteen alone.

When practise started, around 8:30

Miss Winnie asked me if I could perform. At first I only wanted to be a 'helper' or an usher or something.

In the end Zkay convinced that I had 6 hours of practise for 3 songs ,which were:

-Let's Rock

-Beauty and the Beast

-Amazing Grace , my last minute solo piece with piano

Yeah... all the songs were for beginners. So 6 hours were enough.

Just that I performed and my parents didn't come to see me perform. Everybody's parents were there... almost everybody.

I asked my mum if she wanted to see the recording. She was like :NO

That is how supportive my mum is.
